26 July 2016 We can't work in the cactus

I came home and found Farmer working on the pick up. He was removing the exhaust and a few other minor things(shocks). I came out to help and he was under the frame working as he came out he rolled into a prickly pear cactus, that was it. We gotta move this thing to a better location. So we decide to park it on the side yard by the garden, it's clean and free of cactus! The pick up is now just the frame, cab (no seat) cab is fairly clean of junk, and the motor. Still it is only Farmer and I. We start to push the truck and I am also steering it. We only had to push it 30 or 40 feet, in the dirt, but we also had to make a sharp turn in a gate that is maybe 7 1/2 feet wide. That was a chore! We almost knock the gate down. We would push forward, turn the wheels and roll it backward, turn the wheels and push it forward. It wasn't going to go in at any angle other than straight in. Hmmm, Farmer says get the Toyota and we'll attache a tow rope to the bumper and the frame of the truck and drag it straight. We did, it still took a couple of times, me pulling with the Toyota and Farmer trying to hold the brake to keep it from moving forward. Sara came by and helped by sitting in the cab and steering while Farmer and I pushed it straight in the gate. This is getting more fun every time.  Hopefully this is where we will build some kind of garage or carport. Here are the pictures for today:

It's hard to tell but the shocks and exhaust are gone now

it's closer than it looks.
