So I thought, yes it's hot and yes I'm working outside, but I have to get started. It looks like rain and maybe it will cool down. I started tearing the pick up down. I knew tearing it down would be a lot easier than rebuilding it. I started with the grill and front end. Followed by the front fenders then radiator and radiator support brace. Next came the hood and preparation to disassemble the motor. The motor is going to George, it's his favorite motor and I know he'll have something great to put it in. I am trying to bag and label the bolts as they come out so I can remember where they will go. Of course they will be new bolts when they go back in but I want to know how many I need for each part. The parts will be evaluated and either replaced or cleaned up, stripped and prepared for painting. I want to keep as much as I can. By the way the pick-up is now titled in my name, but in our hearts really it is still Uncle Pete's and you too Tobi. Here are some pictures after todays work. Farmer and Jeremy were helping:

By the way this is what I'm driving until there the project is complete
Until next post;
