This is a quick post, yesterday Farmer and I decided to remove the engine, tranny, drivelines and differential. We need an engine hoist. George has one but he worked last night and is resting. My neighbor has one, so I go over to borrow it. Dave (neighbor) had mentioned if I wanted to use his I could, so I went to get it. Dave and I were talking and he said he was trying to sell the engine hoist, if I knew anyone interested. I asked what he was looking at getting, he said how about $60, Farmer said he'll buy it ( meaning me) so I did. Now we have a hoist to do the work. We hauled it back to the house, hooked it up and presto the engine is out and in the back of the Toyota. We took it to George's, he plans to use it for a racing mustang. It's a 360 bored out to a 390, and I'm sure he will add a few extras. I am now removing all the little extra stuff such as the brake lines some wiring and basically getting it ready to clean up. I'll degrease it also, it's mighty greasy. Stripping it down will be (I'm sure) faster and easier than building it back. But I'm excited to do it. Anyway here are a couple of pictures, basically it's down to the frame and wheels. By the way, Happy Birthday Kenneth William Slade (RIP)
