Actually I found an engine for the pick up about 2 weeks ago,I just haven't had time to post it. What we did was find an engine on Craig's list, it was still in a 1993 Dodge Pick-up. I called and offered to buy the engine and tranny, it is an automatic with overdrive. I didn't need the rest of the pick-up. So he sold the cab, fenders, doors and I got the motor, tranny and frame, driveline, wheels and the pick-up bed. We needed the flat bed trailer to pick it up, but it had a scrapped car on it. Time to scrap the car. Farmer and I hauled it to the scrap dealer and sold it for $40 per ton, that brought in a whopping $60. Anyway we then went to get the motor et al. When we remove the motor and tranny, I will either sell the rest or cut the frame and make a trailer. We'll see. The motor and tranny will be completely rebuilt and fortified, but first we need to mock it up and make sure it fits where we want it.

The pick-up on the rack, back in the rear is a 1961 Ford F-100
Custom with a Cummings swap in it. I was amazed it fit.
He uses it to drag race, turns a quarter mile in 12 seconds. Awesome!

This would make a nice trash trailer.
Hopefully we will start on the mock up for the motor, mounts, and tranny
