So who went to the 4th of July parade? This guy did! and, yes with a 1975 Ford F-250. So, here's the rest of the story, when we left off I wasn't going to take the truck, but Farmer was persistent and wanted to get it ready to go. He left early to buy a new thermostat and fluid, came back and we installed the thermostat and fluids. Went for a drive and still hot, about that time George showed up. We looked and talked about it. George asked is there water in the block, I answered I do not know, he said disconnect that hose and see. The hose was a small hose between the thermostat and the block. I did and couldn't see any water. That's the problem, yep I realize that, but why is there not any water? I reached down to the bottom radiator hose and squeezed it water came up from the block, then Jeremy opened the cap, more water bubbled up. It was an air bubble blocking the water from getting to the block. We didn't burp the system. Went for another drive, was much cooler. Water was circulating and cooling. So we loaded the truck and headed for Eagar via Mule Creek/ Glenwood. The parade was great, people loved the truck and the rest of the weekend family reunion was great. The family really loved the truck. Now we must complete the job and get it finished right! However here are a couple of pictures of the parade and reunion. I drove the truck and Farmer was inside with me. In the back throwing candy is Tennasyn, Tyleigh, Kenny and Kelsey. They had a blast and got blasted with water balloons and hoses. Fun time.
